ABOUT THE NLWA

The National Letterwinners Association (NLWA) serves as the professional association for those who work with athletic alumni and letterwinner organizations at their respective college or university, serving as a vehicle for networking and the exchange of industry leading best practices.

Members include representatives from colleges and universities from across the United States who directly work with their respective athletic alumni and letterwinner organizations. Each personal affiliated with NLWA has an responsibility to contribute to the national conversation.

The NLWA was founded by the National W Club at the University of Wisconsin in 1996. At inception, it was geared towards the Big Ten Conference institutions and original attendees were solely from Big Ten Schools. The NLWA eventually expanded and is open to all NCAA colleges and universities.
